Holding a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws, and as a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, James is committed to delivering practical, strategic, and results-focused legal advice to his clients.

Known for his strong advocacy skills and client-focused approach, James regularly appears in courts throughout New South Wales. He has built a reputation for providing clear guidance and effective representation in complex legal matters, helping clients navigate challenging situations with confidence.

As Director, James leads the firm with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for the legal team and ensuring the firm maintains the highest standards of service, expertise, and client care.

Mantoura Zaidan is a Senior Solicitor with over 20 years' experience in leasing, contract negotiation and asset management, advising on complex commercial leasing matters including luxury retail and national retailer portfolios across Australia, New Zealand and internationally.

Mantoura's background in senior administrative and operational roles provides a practical perspective, combining strong legal knowledge with a deep understanding of commercial realities to deliver strategic, solutions-focused advice tailored to each client's objectives.

She has significant experience in governance frameworks, compliance and risk management, and is regarded for her ability to manage stakeholder relationships, lead cross-functional teams and support clients through complex decision-making.

Julia is a Senior Solicitor with more than 30 years' experience across commercial law, banking and finance, property, litigation and complex commercial transactions. Throughout her career, Julia has held senior legal and management positions in both private practice and major Australian organisations.

Julia brings a strong commercial and strategic perspective to her practice, with particular expertise in structuring, negotiating and documenting transactions. Her experience extends to business structures and transactions, contractual matters, dispute resolution and litigation.

Shaun Phipps

Shaun has over 35 years of experience in the legal and conveyancing industry. Beginning her career in regional New South Wales, she has developed extensive knowledge through a variety of legal and conveyancing roles, working across a broad range of property transactions.

She completed her Conveyancing Law & Practice qualification through Macquarie University in 2016. Since joining Kent Conveyancing in 2023, Shaun has enjoyed helping clients navigate the property process with confidence — particularly first home buyers.

Meagan supports both clients and the conveyancing team throughout the property transaction process. With a strong background in customer service and administration, she ensures clients receive professional, friendly and efficient support at every stage.

As the administrator responsible for the firm's Boolaroo office, Meagan oversees day-to-day operations and is often the first point of contact for clients.
